In addition to the single cards that I produced for the New York State Museum Gift Shop, there were also two strips of six cards. Again, the cards are copyrighted by the University of the State of New York, so I don't know that I can illustrate them here.

There are six New York Metropolis cards in this strip. Each card would be 3½" x 5½" if separated. (5½" x 23¾" together) The cards are:

  1.     Atlantic Right Whale skeleton
  2.     Algonkian wigwam
  3.     Marine artifacts
  4.     The Tuck Hi Import Co. and the Gutierrez Barbershop
  5.     New York City subway car No. 1801, built 1940
  6.     A Trading Post from the New York Stock Exchange

Using the above card numbers, the following are the card numbers used on each card:

  1. P336301
  2. P336302
  3. P336303
  4. P336304
  5. P336305
  6. P336306

All the cards were published by Colourpicture (not stated). Centerline ©1986 The University of the State of New York — The State Education Department   Dist. by Avis Post Card Co., Box 5053, Albany, N.Y. 12205

6,500 strips were ordered. I do not know the exact number delivered in 1986.
