I was a stamp collector for over 30years and recently stopped acquiring new issues to put all of my attention into this ministry. One of the nice things about post cards was the ability to create almost any type of design. At about the same time as I was making post cards, many other distributors throughout the United States were making similar "stamp designed" post cards. Of course I had to add one!

One of the unusual aspects about this card was that it shows three new scenes that I never put on individual post cards:

A001.jpg (85506 bytes)          A003.jpg (126160 bytes)

Both of these views were from the N.Y.S.O.G.S. As I am writing this I don't know why I never used the aerial view as an individual post card. Maybe I was running out of money? The photo of City Hall I took myself on a quiet day. The other two views are from cards #411 and #524.

The original printing shows a smudgy postmark on the front of the card, while the reprint doesn't.

The cards are 4" x 6". The publisher was PlastichromeŽ. The original card shows Dist. by Avis Post Card Co. down the centerline, while the reprint only shows a straight line. The lower left corner shows: Photos courtesy N.Y.S.O.G.S., Bob Glander and Dennis Mallory and the card/stock number of 531 or 531R on the reprint.

12,550 cards were delivered on August 13, 1982.
6,900 cards were delivered on July 2, 1986.
